Carousel and photoslider

The Photoslider and the AEM Carousel might look the same, but they are diffent components: The photoslider uses content from an article, while the AEM Carousel has more options and can contain other AEM components.

Photoslider

The photoslider-component uses the photoslider of an article. This means that the photos are managed in MME, on the article itself. In AEM, you can only configure 3 things for this component, as demonstrated below.
The slider behaves like it does on an article: clicking the image will open the image-overlay.

The AEM carousel itself has several options.

It is possible to add images and citation components to this carousel. In the follwing example, the watch is an image-component.

Trump

The AEM-carousel has an option to strech its citation assets: this way, the carousel will take the height of the largest citation/image, and stretch all other citations to this height.
Image-components can not stretch.
