SEO and Social PT

Each page in AEM has two tabs in the page properties that are relevant for SEO:

• The Basic tab
• The Social and SEO tab

For pages that are less important, always provide at least the Description on the Basic-tab. This is important for the description in Google Search Results.

Important note about the titles : if you don't provide all titles, the system will try to fall back to another title:

• When the "Navigation title" is not provided, the system will use the "Page title" instead.
• When the "Page title" is not provided, the system will use the "Title" instead.

If the fields of this tab are not filled in, the values of the Basic-tab will be taken instead. The image will remain empty.

A small remark concerning the openGraph title and the twitter title:
When this is a long title that is shown on multiple lines, Facebook/Twitter can remove the description text in the "card". This is not a bug.
